Guampa

Guampa is a mate gourd made from bull horn or (rarely) hooves. The name guampa comes from the word wampa which in the Quechuean language means ‘horn’. Guampa is used for serving terere and cannot be used for warm mate.
Capacity: 150-350 ml

Bamboo vessel

Used for serving tereré.
Capacity: 150 ml

Ceramic and glass vessels

Ceramic and glass containers for mate are also relatively popular. They come in different shapes, sometimes copying the shape of the calabaza or porongo gourd. They may be decorated with leather. It is easy to keep them clean, free from fungus and they do not need curing prior to use.
Capacity: 150-500 ml
